Frances Panetta
Our Principal, brings extensive legal experience, having been admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia since 1997. Her career began in boutique and mid-tier law firms across Sydney, where she built expertise in areas such as commercial litigation, property, conveyancing, wills, estate planning and probate, criminal law, construction law, personal injury, professional indemnity, and family law.
Frances joined Downeys Lawyers as an Associate of the firm from July 2011 to July 2015. During her tenure, she managed the firm's family law practice independently and provided assistance to clients with conveyancing, estate planning, and estate administration matters.
Frances is highly dedicated and meticulous, demonstrating a strong commitment to her clients. Her comprehensive expertise in family law allows her to provide informed advice and effective representation across all areas of Family Law, including financial and property settlements, de facto relationship matters, separation and divorce, parenting issues and arrangements for children, as well as child support and spousal maintenance.
